boat rack and pinion steering adjustment
Teleflex rack steering adjustment march 6th, 2012, 01:23 pm installed a new system.placed the motor in the straight position with the cable end hooked to the motor and than bolted the rack to the pinion. motor steers more one way than the other. did i do something wrong?. How a rack and pinion system works. there are two different styles of rack and pinion steering systems. you have a single rack and a double rack, or a dual rack. basically, there is a bar that attaches to the steering cable. think of it as a hollow bar. inside this hollow bar, we have a plate that has teeth all along one side of it..
